Job Summary

Linmore LED, a US based manufacturer of commercial and industrial LED lighting, specializing in retrofit products, is looking for a skilled assembler to work in our production facility in Fresno, California.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be present each day, on-time and remain at work for the entire scheduled shift.
  • Identify and prepare individual components for installation into lighting assemblies.
  • Utilize hand and/or power tools to:
    • Remove and/or install hardware (i.e. screws, nuts, bolts) from lighting assemblies.
    • Install and connect wiring, controls and sensors based on individual order requirements.
    • Repair and/or replace wiring, controls or sensors.
  • Perform basic low voltage power on/off product testing.
  • Prepare and/or complete packaging for finished assemblies.
  • Avoid distractions while performing job duties.
  • Effectively communicate challenges/issues with Production Leads.
  • Accept instruction and coaching in a mature, professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Overtime may be required on an as needed basis.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Lead/Supervisor.

  • Ability to distinguish/differentiate colors and shapes.
  • Ability to comprehend letter/number sequences.
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to safely and effectively operate various hand/power tools including, but not limited to drills, screw drivers and hammers.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal direction and written instructions provided from drawings, diagrams, pictures, policies, procedures and/or work instructions.    
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in an assembly group environment. 
  • Possess good time management skills with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to safely lift & carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.

Work Environment

  • Position operates in a warehouse environment. Exposure to nominal noise levels generated from handheld tooling, and material handling equipment. Additional exposure to varying temperature ranges based on weather conditions.

Education / Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
